Job description

PALCO Industrial Marking and Labeling, Inc, a growing and expanding label manufacturer, is seeking to fill an experienced Flexographic Press Operator in our label production department.

Position Description:
The position would consist of operating a flexographic printing press with auto registration within our production facility. You will be required to safely set-up, operate and clean the flexographic press in a productive manner while following Quality Control Specifications. You will need to be able to see defects by use of a strobe light, maintain ink management, and mount plates successfully. You will be responsible for maintaining the print consistency and quality of labels that our customers have come to expect. Other responsibilities will include ensuring your area is clean and well maintained.

Position Duties

Perform Printing, Inspection, and Press Operation Duties
Set up Flexographic Press to Job Specifications
Effectively Monitor Press and Printed Material for Consistency
Follow Quality Control Guidelines from Start to Finish
Perform Appropriate Duties as Assigned by Management
Maintain a Safe and Clean Work Space
Follow all Established Safety Rules and Regulations

Position Requirements

1+ years Flexographic Press Operator Experience is preferred but willing to train the right individual
Must have Good Math Skills including the Ability to Read a Ruler.
Must be able to pass a Math Aptitude Test.
Lift up to 75 pounds.
Pre-employment Drug Screen, Background Check, and Physical Required.

Benefits:

Schedule:

Expected hours: 40 – 42 per week
Monday to Friday 7:30am to 4pm.
Work Location: In person

Quarterly performance evaluations with potential of pay increase for the first year. Annual performance evaluations with increases after the first year. At least 1 year of Flexo Press Experience is required for this position.
Pay is dependent on experience
